“Play Zelda on your mobile”
If you ever owned a Super Nintendo then you've no doubt played Zelda. In fact, you probably haven't just played it, but rather eaten, slept and breathed it for months on end.
For me, Zelda was the title that really kick-started the whole role-playing game phenomenon. At first glance it was a cutesy, quirky bit of fun, but soon became an immersive, epic adventure that was difficult to escape.
This version of Zelda for Java phones recreates the magic of the original very accurately. The graphics, sound effects and little ditties are pretty much identical to the SNES version, and the storyline is the same too. This means you get a huge, sprawling labyrinth of levels complete with all manner of puzzles, which you'll find it difficult to tear yourself away from it.
It translates quite well to the small screen, and everything is easy-to-see and well animated. There are a few options, such as volume control, key configuration, and graphic effect tweaking. On the downside, the game doesn't include instructions, and I encountered a few small bugs and blips along the way.
If you're a fan of the original, this game will help you rekindle your love for Zelda.

From the publisher of Zelda Mobile
This is a remake of Zelda for mobile phones. The Legend of Zelda is a video game designed by Shigeru Miyamoto and developed and published by Nintendo. Set in the fantasy land of Hyrule, the plot centers on a boy named Link, the playable protagonist, who aims to rescue Princess Zelda from the primary antagonist, Ganon, by collecting the eight fragments of the Triforce, a powerful artifact.
As the inaugural game of The Legend of Zelda series, it was first released in Japan as a launch title for the Famicom's Disk System peripheral, a year and five months before it was released in the United States. Because the Famicom Disk System was not released outside Japan, the game was published internationally on the Nintendo Entertainment System's cartridge format in 1987, with an internal battery to facilitate data saving. Nintendo released the game in Japan in 1994 on cartridge format for the Famicom.
